For TA Travel Center: I went the TA Truck shoop In Demotte IN for My Truck problem at about 3:30PM.I was quoted a $750 price and they told they will fix my truck in 1.5 hr when parts arrive. I was happy about the service I was getting at the time. The problem started when they ordered wrong parts for my truck and they said will order the correct one and the part was being shipped out Indianapolis which could take two hrs. They told told that it will be delivered in the morning and having no choice how this going, I said ok. In the morning like 7:15AM I went straight to the shop to asked if they ordered the part I was told yes. I checked them again around 10:00AM and the guy behind the counter was like sorry I have to include your order with other so they can deliver together. They finally got the part around 3PM and fixed my truck only this time they asked two different prices with one being $1300 the other around $900. I questioned why the original price changed? The manger come around and I thought he can clear this confusion but after less than 3 minutes he said I have to pay the increased price or I would involve the “Authority “which is I will call the Police on you so I could be harmed by the police.The Manager’s name is Jason I believe and I think he said that because of my skin color and he may have hate in his heart so if you are a black person watch out for Jason at Demotte IN. I will never use their service and would advise others not use their services.
