For Leerjak Travel Center: If you have a minute today, be sure and call Leerjak travel center in Ellsinore MO today and make sure they know how you feel about LOCKING DRIVERS OUT OF THEIR STORE WHO WERE TRYING TO TAKE SHELTER AS TORNADOES WERE ON THE GROUND!!! They said it was protocol... nope. That was stupidly! Their lock was way more valuable that those drivers lives last night!!!
Do not stop at that place!! Located on US60 which is a cut-across (short cut) for many drivers!!

Wife just got off the phone with them, they informed her that they are only responsible for thier employees and any customers already in the store because of the liquor license they have and that their alcohol sales out weigh the diesel fuel sales. So they dont care if the truckers are in danger.
This is the same storm system that ripped through Nashville last night and have claimed 21 lives thus far....Im sorry but as a trucker myself they can kiss my ass as I will never stop there as I drive by alot. My life and all the other drivers I see daily lives matter a hell of alot more than some liquor and some business license.
They also told my wife they didnt care if truckers boycott cause they got plenty buying alcohol there...wonder if gets passed around enough to people in that area that become outraged by their actions and stops buying from them... I live in Missouri and ama Professional Driver so Im a bit outraged that a business is more concerned with their product and license than a human life...if a tornado hit them they would have lost that product they valued more than multiple drivers
