For Gateway: Stopped at the Nacogdoches Gateway Travel Plaza yesterday while traveling home to Houston. After having travelled from Texarkana, I was really in need of a restroom, but Denny's personnel told me the only was was in the travel center. That restroom was completely blocked off for cleaning. I waited several minutes butit did not open, so I returned across the store to Denny's to look at the menu with my husband. After orderingwith a server, I again went around to the restroom which hadstill not opened. I asked a clerk in the travel center whenshe thought it would be open. She didn't know but said I could get a key to the shower restroom. Turns out there was only one key(though 3 showers) and someone in the shower had the key. I waited 7or 8 minutes there until finally my husband came around to check on me. I told him I was still trying to use a restroom. We walked back to the primary restroom which after all this time was still closed. You could see around the partition tht a man was VERY slowly wiping each and every tile on the wall as if he had all the time in the world, which apparently he did. He told us is would be 5 or 10 more mminutes. Other women were also waiting by this time. I went back around to the showers where finally someone was coming out. I have stopped at this Denny's once before and found excellent service, but will never stop at Denny's in Nacogdoches or this travel plaza again. This was beyond ridiculous.
