For Loves Travel Stop: Worse mechanics service ever! My two brothers are truck drivers and got stranded less than 10 miles down the road to this Love's and had to be towed. It seems like due to the icy weather they received, they're battery died on their truck, which was the case for 5 or 6 more truck drivers with the same issue. After waiting for over 6 hours in 10 degree weather they finally got a tow and was able to get to this location. Unfortunately, they experienced the run around and a bunch of excuses. They were told that the mechanics would get to their truck battery to have it re-charged that night. And, ended up having to get a hotel because they were lied to. Before they left the location, they were told the mechanics would have them up and going around 7:00 a.m. As of right now it's 11:15 and they called and got the run around again. It doesn't help that the previous night the mechanics were complaining about doing THEIR job. I think it's bad that most of these drivers are not from this region, and did not expect this to happen, and to be treated this way was down right unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with corporate on this Love's. I tried to give them no stars, but had to give them 1.

For Loves Travel Stop: I'm a local driver now out of Chicago Hgts. but ran the road and have to say this Loves is by far the worse I have visited! The employees are rude, that's what you get hiring Illinois-me city suburb people! The parking favors the passenger vehicles. Every Loves I have been to have a bobtail area but this one does not, don't forget who is the one spending hundreds of dollars on fuel and supplies verse your passenger vehicle driver who may spend $5 to $50 and steal from you while visiting. The store is nice as well as the property but you will lose revenue if you keep this practice up! My company has us fuel there but are thinking of changing to the Gary IN. truck stops T/A PILOT etc! Our central hub in the Heights has over 700 drivers with same and more tractors. It's as if you forgot what pays your bills, diesel sales not auto fuel. I have stopped going there as well as many other drivers on my shift, good luck with that gas station mentality!
