Read the ghost story below...
The Brookdale Lodge has been open since 1890 in the giant redwoods of the Santa Cruz mountains. The dining room features a natural brook running through it and became world famous from Ripley's Believe It or Not.
During the 1940's when some criminals made a home of the lodge, a number of passageways and hidden rooms were built throughout. A six year old girl drowned in the indoor creek and a number of bodies were said to be buried under the lodge floors.
In present day, hauntings include the little girl running through the lobby, a woman walking over a bridge that isn't there, voices and music around the lodge with ghosts dining in an empty dining room.
