La Playa Hotel Ghost Story
The original building here was the home for Christopher Jorgensen and bride Angela Ghiradelli from the San Francisco chocolate fortune.
Later, the "Grande Dame of Carmel" became a hotel and a second building was built in the 1920s. A woman haunts the hotel today. She is thought to be Angela Ghiradelli or her cousin who drowned in the Carmel Bay.
