Santa Maria Inn Ghost Story
The Santa Maria Inn opened in 1917 and is still a Central Coast landmark. Some guests have stayed at the inn permanently. From footprints to a piano that plays by itself, there are many stories. Another one tells of Rudolph Valentino knocking on the door of room 210. An invisible presence has also been known to recline on the bed leaving impressions.
