Sep 2019: The legend is true! Many folk in cars driving around the lot and grouped to talk after the stores close. They all disappeared at the stroke of midnight, though! Nice and quiet after that. Very strong slope to the lot, we found a 1 degree spot in the Sobeys lot. The mall is defunct with only the outside tenants remaining. No signs and no problems staying.
