For KOA Holiday Denver East: The showers were clean and the water was hot. The dog park had a couple of fun things for the pups. Everything shit down at 6:00 pm. The pool closed, the office closed, the store closed, no activities. This is a “koa holiday” place, it is July, (the height of tourist season) and there is nothing happening here. The employee we met was nice. $75 for two people. We expected the pool to be open and maybe an ice cream social, or game time or something more than a parking space and a shower. The sign says they serve pancakes on Saturday and Sunday mornings for two hours…$7.50. With nothing more to offer campers, that should be every day and free. Nothing fancy here during our visit. Grossly over priced!

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Super friendly staff, but park is pretty rundown and grossly overpriced at $72 for one night. I’ve stayed at really nice RV resorts that cost less. I guess when you’re the only RV park for 50 miles, you can charge whatever you want.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: We stayed here September 24, 2021. Yes, it the traffic noise is loud. But we managed with ear plugs and keeping the RV fan on. After dealing with Denver rush hour traffic, this place looked great. We especially annoyed the fresh-baked pizza, which they would deliver to your site if you requested.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Anything south of the office and you might as well be sleeping on the freeway, it’s incredibly loud. There is some kind of bridge/seam in the freeway pavement right at the park that every car or truck or semi going over it at freeway speeds makes a ton of racket. North of the office and it’s bearable - but then you’re close to the train tracks. The dog park was decent. The park was kitschy and quirky, but also pretty beat up and in need of repair. The showers and bathrooms are in the same place which is kinda annoying as you shower inches from people pooping - I would prefer some separation for the two. They were functional and mostly clean. They do have propane. I didn’t interact with any staff so can’t speak to their friendliness but that seems to be a common theme in other reviews. The spots are very very close together. Utilities worked. Site was mostly level (shouldn’t be hard in this part of the country). For the price I would have liked it to be a tad nicer.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Not a very good KOA. water didn’t work after I parked they told me water didn’t work at this site but I could tie to the neighbors. The neighbor was a permanent looking site.

JMS

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Staff friendly. Had LP as advertised. Pool closed due to COVID, which was to be expected. Playground old and dumpy. The whole place is pretty rundown and sites are really close together, like 6-8’. We had to ask our neighbors to go inside or relocate while we hooked up because the sites are so small and close together. The interstate is VERY close. This will be fine for the night but will try to avoid in the future. It’s kind of a depressing, beat down place, saved by the friendliness of the staff.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Consistency as expected from a KOA Which was great. Very friendly staff and high service. Weekend pancakes! Sites very close together and landscaping was rough. Good as an interstate stopover. Like most KOAs, needs better WI-FI.
