For KOA Holiday Denver East: Only gets three stars because the staff there is amazing. Very nice and very helpful. Very disappointed that not every site has a firepit. The electrical and water for your spot is in the middle of rv sites grass next to you so it creates an inconvenience for your neighbor. The grass area in between site is only about 6-8’ so you don’t have much room to set much up outside your rv. It is very loud with the highway and trains nearby but that’s a give in knowing that by looking on a map of the place. They have an outdoor movie screen setup for when covid is over I guess. The showers and bathroom are kept up with. All in all I would not come back here unless I was passing thru. We used it as a first place to take out our new rv trailer to test it all out and make sure we were close to home if we needed stuff.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Great for an overnight stop! It’s close to the highway and train, but neither bothered us. Looks like they’re sprucing up some of the pull thrus. The guy that greeted us was super friendly and helpful. Spots are tight, but only staying for one night we did not feel uncomfortable and our pull thru was easy to get in and out of.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: This was a decent park. Friendly and helpful staff. The sites in the entire park were extremely tight. I would not want to be here in a busy time. We travelled during COVID -19 so common areas were not available. Location is easy to get to as it is right off the freeway. There is also the ability to walk 1/2 mile to coffee and restaurants etc... the surrounding neighborhood encouraged me to lock my doors.

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Good for a last minute pull over for the night. Train was very close but didn’t hear any after 9 pm. Pretty close to our neighbor on the door side. Quiet park

Ruth

For KOA Holiday Denver East: We received a very crummy spot even though we made a reservation in advance prior to our arrival. We were all the way in the back of the park, really close to the noisy highway. Far from the restrooms. No fire pit for our small kids to roast marshmallows. WiFi signal was non existent back there & cell phone signal was weak. We asked a couple of times to be relocated. There were spots available but we were told that they were full. We spent two nights there. The plan was to spend three. A spot that I had asked about stayed open both days/nights; but what really aggravated me was when we noticed that the people who were next to us got moved to a better location. If all you need is a place to “crash” for the night, this place will serve that purpose.

Yockey

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Very noisy. Sites extremely close. Couldn’t even put awning out for fear of it hitting rv next to us. Very expensive for a not so great stay

For KOA Holiday Denver East: Great staff. They are working to upgrade the park but have a way to go. Sites are mostly gravel and close together. Just spent one night here on our way to Alaska and enjoyed the brief visit. Typical 1990's KOA with pool and playground for the kids. Right next to I70 so there was considerable noise from the traffic.
