For Hanna City Park Campground: My wife, kids, dog, and I planned to just stay here a couple of nights before heading further into Florida. We liked it so much we went from three nights to staying two weeks. We had to do some jumping between sites, but there are always open sites if you're patient and look online as people no show. The beach, lake, all of the playgrounds, disc golf, biking, and the absolute jungle feel was just what my family was looking for after a long winter in Maine. Side note: If you have a bigger rig it will be TOUGH to navigate. I'd go as far as say sit in the main road in the campground and walk your site over first. Our first day we came in and stayed in site 93, which is a 35 foot site for a 33 foot travel trailer. The site was flipped the complete wrong direction coming in off the main road. All of the other campers were super nice to help direct us through a 50 point turn, but if we just came in the other direction, it would have been easy to maneuver. Once we learned this trick, it was smooth sailing to get into any other site. Overall, great location and price if you're planning on staying longer than a night visit and want to explore.

For Hanna City Park Campground: Beautiful county park with a great Florida vibe. It’s a large park but the sites are separated by bushes and Palmettos so ours offered privacy. The online booking allows you to see your actual site, which is nice. Gorgeous beach is a short walk via park road or trails. The roads are one lane in spots and might be tight for a big rig but were easy to navigate in a 30’+ tow. Nice little park store with ice cream and rental bikes.

JAYWU

For Hanna City Park Campground: Hanna Park is a great park & very good campground. Full hook ups, quite, family/kid friendly, hiking trails, bicycle trails, over a mile of beach & very friendly staff. Restroom were found to be clean & organized. The campsites generally have native vegetation separating the sites. Slips are packed soil. It’s raining today but with common since it’s not too dirty no WiFi & no cable but with Verizon we have 3 bars & the antenna picks up around 51 stations clearly. We have a 34ft travel trailer with side outs on both sides. Roads in the campground are narrow. This was my first time backing the rig in, took my time, had help form my wife and we got it with little to no problem. You just have to go slow, have help, & make a plan. I certainly wouldn’t read this as a newbie and say “forget it”? This park is too much fun! If you’re concerned call the park and they are very helpful in suggesting a proper back in or pull through for your rig. We stayed at S255 it’s Aprox 50ft wide & 80ft deep. We will be back again & again. We have the park a 41/2 star as there was no pad , gravel or oyster shells. Still worth it 100%!

Big Blue

For Hanna City Park Campground: First it is a big campground and many campers. We have a 38’ travel trailer with 3 slides and had an inconvenient time getting into campsite. After in the site it was easy to hookup to water, sewer, electric(50,30,20). There is no cable or internet services provided. Site was mostly level but base was dirt, stone and shell mixture. When it rains you get a lot of mud tracking in. We were able to get reception. On TV antenna of many channels. We were around the laundry area so we did use the washers and dryers. My wife said there worked okay for what she needed them for. Easy trash dump areas. Nice area with friendly people to take walks. It is pet friendly. There was access to the lake which you can fish in. While at the lake we saw a gator sunning himself near the middle little island. We went to the ocean beach access and had a great walk on the beach. Lots of children but most of them were very polite. We would go here again.

Eric

For Hanna City Park Campground: Our third time here in a 40’MH and very glad to be back. Beautiful place, a taste of the real Florida nestled in a mature hammock of huge oaks and tall palms. Paved roads, sand sites usually separated by screening natural palmetto. Roads are single lane and curvy through the trees, so be careful with your rig! Some sites can be rather wet when it rains. Reservation system works fine and gives good info about each site. Digital code to enter campground also gives after hours access to the park. We will be back, love this place.

For Hanna City Park Campground: Great! So much to do! Yes, lots of people on weekends, but that’s everywhere. Stayed for two weeks and maybe 15 rvs I’m entire park. So quiet and feel like it’s just us here. If you want quiet come during the week. But, it’s so lively to see all kids playing even if they don’t know each other! Bike trails are fun fun fun! Beach walking distance, disc golf, parks...so many camp hosts so someone always around to help!! Have a great time!! Didn’t get a 5 because it rained and water holes and sites a little wet. Sites are dirt not gravel or concrete.

DaVida

For Hanna City Park Campground: Woodsy, shaded, privacy, full hookups, camp store, playground, fresh water fishing lake, undeveloped beaches, short walk thru beautiful sand dunes - all pluses. But... neglected facilities, poorly maintained, muddy puddles in showers, smelly laundry, and way too many kids, homeschooled, we heard, nary an adult in sight, circling bikes, screeching at each other for hours during the weekdays and weekends. Staff moved us to another site, because they get complaints and are easily willing to relocate us who prefer quiet, calm of Florida nature. Folks can stay up to 6 months?! Weekends are full of locals, as expected, weekdays are crowded with noisy families. One host has 5 homeschooled kids?! Alas, not gonna return here.
