For New Orleans RV Resort and Marina : We stayed in Pontchartrain Landing in July on a waterfront site. While it's not quite as picturesque as the website implies, we felt very safe, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had no trouble getting to the park, and found it to be in an industrial area, not what I consider "sketchy". The restaurant serves bar food, while it is adequate, I wouldn't recommend it.
All in all we would stay again, the staff was lovely and the common areas were very clean.

For New Orleans RV Resort and Marina : We were scared that we had made a mistake when we drove up the road to the park, but the park itself is beautiful! Gated, pretty park on the water. Our site was right on the marina, next to the houseboats and worth the extra cost for the water-side site. Very fun atmosphere with a large restaurant, bar and live music in the evening. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool. The inexpensive shuttle right to the French Quarter is great, and easy to return on as well. Quiet, picturesque, friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Sunnycove

For New Orleans RV Resort and Marina : We stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. Sites are VERY close together but we were here to see the city and not camp out. We had a standard back in and pullthrus and pricier sites are better. Great bar with entertainment and awesome food. Pool is VERY small. Only complaint is for the price ($59 w/ GS discount) one would assume sites and drives would be paved. Instead they are gravel with many large potholes. Our site was mostly void of gravel so quite muddy with rain (and we had lots) we waded through inch deep pools. We took enough gravel from an adjoining site that had excess gravel so we had a path above water. Great shuttle to French Quarter and only $6 for round trip. We had a ball in the FQ and would stay here again.

For New Orleans RV Resort and Marina : Thankfully I had read a review saying not to let the entrance up to the place scare you because it is definitely deceiving! Once u get to the gates it is very nice & clean. The people there r very friendly & helpful. The bar & grill is a cool place to hang out & the food is great! Pool & jacuzzi right off bar which is neat! Laundry rm was helpful to have & they picked up ur trash every morning which also was helpful. Totally reccomend the place to anyone! Enjoyed our time there:))
