For Fairchild AFB FamCamp: This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. We’ve used it as a stop over spot both times. But plan to come back to explore the area. The park could use some love but the bones are good. Pro: Spots are level, price $25 (cash only), safe, laundry room super clean and $1 includes both wash and dry. Fits big rigs. Con: spots close together, spots are dirt/ sand.

For Fairchild AFB FamCamp: We stayed a week over Memorial weekend in our 40' motorhome towing our CRV. First come, first serve was fine as we called a few days prior to verify space available. The price is great and being on a base is very comforting. The park itself needs some love. Obviously the high-ups don't see the value in having a nice FamCamp. The grass has turned to weeds, the trees need to be trimmed and lots of water leaks. The spaces are very close together, although plenty long for our big rig and tow vehicle. When choosing your site, pay attention to the wind direction. It can make all the difference when sitting outside. Also, the trees are beautiful, but in the spring time, they drop loads of sap on your rig and vehicle. The camp hosts are very nice and made check in a breeze. They gave great directions since the road appeared to be closed based on signage, but was open to the RV park. We came in the main gate without any trouble but it was a tight fit for our class A. It's not much of an RV park, but did the job while we were visiting Spokane. I wish the military would see the value in the FamCamps and make them a little more family friendly. We camped at Fairchild AFB FamCamp in a Motorhome. When choosing your site, pay attention to the wind direction. It can make all the difference when sitting outside. Also, the trees are beautiful, but in the spring time, they drop loads of sap on your rig and vehicle.

For Fairchild AFB FamCamp: Spent 3 weeks here. While the spaces are close together, be here in Oct and only a few people, so we were not close. The hosts were great. The base is neat, make sure you hit up the Dining Facility (Chow Hall). Retirees can use it. Great weekend breakfast. Take a walk around Medical Lake. Short 3 mile walk. Keep up the good work.

For Fairchild AFB FamCamp: Nice quite little fam-camp. Laundry machines are a bargain at 50 cents a load. Our gravel pull through site was fairly level. Plenty of area to walk the dog, but no dog run.

For Fairchild AFB FamCamp: Nice little park. Sites are close together, but manageable. ***Must enter through Rambo Gate***
It would be nice to add a change machine in the laundry room (washer and dryer are .50 each). Also, more signs around the base would be helpful.

Andy

For Fairchild AFB FamCamp: I spent two weeks here, and enjoyed the stay. Although the sites are a little close, I didn't see it as a problem. I found it quiet, and the restroom and showers were more than serviceable. They have new washer and dryers, and the camp host was friendly and helpful. My site was level. There is not a lot of shade in the part I was in, but that's fine with me because I have a satellite dish and too much shade = too little signal. The off air reception was very good. The wifi at my location was not good enough for streaming, but worked fine for email and light browsing. All sites are pullthrough and easy to navigate.
The commissary and exchange are fine, and I was able to change the oil in my motorhome at the auto hobby shop base.
Contrary to another reviewer, I didn't find any rude people here.
I will stay here again if I am in the area.
