For KOA Journey Devils Tower: We were in site 25. Our backend, our door and dining area faced a construction area. They are digging a new pool, backhoe and dump truck 4 feet from our door. They made the most dust I’ve ever encountered. I asked to move, manager said they were no sites available, I saw plenty open sites while we were there.

For KOA Journey Devils Tower: Location is the key. Good park, filled early. we paid for premium view site. My wife love it. I was not feeling well after the long drive and the staff were super nice to me and wife. Although this park is close to Devils tower with great views there is a NPS just down the road that takes walk in only. This park fills early and has all the amenities, while the NPS does not. Even though this park was full and I seen people being turned away at the counter the NPS down the road was not filled that night

For KOA Journey Devils Tower: Other reviews are correct about not arriving to early, unless you want to pay a little more, and the campground is expensive but you are paying for location. This was a great RV park for us being so close because I am an early riser. Devils Tower is open 24/7 so we got to the park at 7:30 am before the BIG crowd of cars lined up to get in around 9:30-10:00 am. Since we got there so early there very few people on the walking trail that goes all the way around the tower. We saw deer, listen to the gentle wind in the trees, birds chirping—it was amazing and exactly what we were looking to do. The park has a variety of accomidations—RV sites, cabins, tent spaces, even teepees. There is a large open picnic area which was great to take walk our dogs around. There is a cafe and souvenier shops, but I suggest stocking up on alcohol before staying—Prices are high since there isnt a close alternative. ;) We liked the park & would recommend it for a few days.

For KOA Journey Devils Tower: My area was a field of weeds with hook ups. Amazingly it was level. Got there early park was 90 % empty but told I had to wait 1 hour to check in. Why? Then I was told there is a 6 o clock hay ride to see local wildlife. Ok show up no one had to tell office. Then I find out they want $6 when guy shows up 15 min late. Really? It is close to park and tower is a beautiful. Also show Close Encounters I assume they charge for it. Surprised they don’t charge for pets like many KOA’s. Think I am done with them.

For KOA Journey Devils Tower: Best campground EVER! Location, location, location! Dele ding on what you’re looking for, this place is A+ because of the location. The staff are incredibly NICE, the campsites roomy (24ft Class C, with 14ft motorcycle trailer), and the entrance to Devils Tower is a stones throw away. We were just here in May (see my Review🤪?) but this time I found out the Park stops charging entrance fees at 5pm but remains open 24hrs!! So, since the evening is coolest part of the day — I just rode my bicycle into the park to see the prairie dogs. Bring mosquito repellent — nasty buggers.

For KOA Journey Devils Tower: This is a great KOA. Good views and facilities. We were in a trailer but nice to have the bathroom and shower available. The tent camping area was also really pretty.

For KOA Journey Devils Tower: The views and the location simply can’t be beat! The site we had was a back-in at the edge of the park closest to the Tower; unfortunately it was quite muddy and wasn’t very level, but our 38’ travel trailer fit just fine. (They kind of pack people in, so we had an audience of 3 different trailers watching us set up) :) Very friendly staff and cute store. Restaurant was ok; cute little playground area. Didn’t use the facilities, so can’t speak about those but it was nice that they had laundry on-site. We were so close to the entrance of the park- we went in around 4pm when we got there, came back and had dinner at the restaurant and went back around 8:30pm to watch the sunset. As all KOA’s are in prime areas, it was a bit pricey at about $76/night. They have late check out but it’s an additional $20 and they only give you an additional 30 min (which we thought was pretty steep and opted not to do)
