For Sayre City Park: What a wonderful find! Had we not been just passing through, it would be a great place to stay for several days. The park offers golf, swimming, miniature golf and more plus nice campsites. I’m sure it is because of all the stay home orders but there were only four sites occupied so it was very quiet.

For Sayre City Park: What a wonderful city park. There were only two other campers in the whole park. Water and electric hook-ups for $12.00/night. Sign states that a park employee will come to your site for payment. After peak season it is on the honor system with envelopes and a secure drop box for your payment. Had a quiet night and felt safe here. Park is in need of some repairs as it appears the regular camping season left its toll on the park. First site we pulled into the electric was not working. Moved to the next site and everything there worked just fine. If you have pets beware of the thorns among the grass. Took our pup out to pee and she picked up painful thorns on all her paws. I never experienced this type of thorn before. Might be a seasonal thing.

For Sayre City Park: Very grateful to find this place and get off the road and bad freezing rain weather. In a large park, pretty and quiet this time of year. Pull-thrus, gravel, 30/50 amps, water dump and garbage. For $12! Recommended.
No bathhouse or toilets, they were closed, so be aware. We camped in a class C. Big sites available, road in ok.

For Sayre City Park: Just came in on I-40 from Texas. Great town park. 70 to 80 cites @ $12.00 each. Almost all of them have electric (30/50) and water. You can even watch some of the golfers and there is a play ground for the kids. What a great find!!!

DaVida
For Sayre City Park: Saw their billboard on EB I40, found this little gem, grassy sites, clean enough bathhouse for many park activities. Quiet. Put $12 cash in envelope, into “iron ranger†at entrance. No one around, though sign states city employee would collect fee. Only 3 of us overnight. Perfect little overnight stop. Will stay again, for sure.

For Sayre City Park: Nice little city park with electric hookups. Not sure if it was actually open when I stopped 5/16/19 since it looked like much of the park and golf course may have been flooded out. Navigated to the RV area, picked a grassy area on the high ground and hooked up for a restful night. Paid my $12 at the unmanned pay station on the way out with a special "Thank You" on the envelope. Hope they recover from the flooding soon.

For Sayre City Park: What a gem we find here!!! Even though the population is only 4,603 their city park is enormous and has everything you could ask for! RV area with 50 amps, water & dump for $12 a night, a pool which charges $2 for all day, several playgrounds throughout, tennis courts, 18 hole golf course ($10 for seniors!), miniature golf course ($2), grandstand, rodeo grounds, baseball and other sports fields, ponds with ducks and geese, and paved walking trails throughout! Unfortunately, some sites have goat heads but ours has them only on the backside.
