For El Reno Lake Campground: This was a lovely spot for one night in late January. Level spots with a lake view we stayed on the East side with just a handful of quiet neighbors. Paid via drop box. Electric hookup was fine. Bathrooms and hot showers were great! Hubby especially loved the geese and swans on the lake

For El Reno Lake Campground: Clean and level site. Most sites are close to each other. Pay at the drop box at office. Arrived on a Thursday night and there were plenty of open spaces so the closeness of the sites wasn’t an issue.

For El Reno Lake Campground: Do not stay in the $15 east sites! Unless you like music and parties all night. We are in the park right now. The noise never stops! This was their last site, so we didn't have a choice. Pay the $20 and stay in the full hook up west side. Much nicer.

For El Reno Lake Campground: Just wonderful, clean, quiet, relaxing, friendly. Due to COVID-19 the office is closed but when you call them they will deliver ICE to your vehicle and pick up your payment so you don’t have to walk to the office. It’s beautiful and there are wonderful scissor tailed flycatchers in residence if you’re a birder.

For El Reno Lake Campground: So, even though we didn’t need sewer we stayed on the $20 “west†side as it was noticeably nicer than the east side. Totally worth it. Level pull in. The east side has overflowing trash, loud music. It’s like two different cities.

For El Reno Lake Campground: We’re staying here overnight on a long trek down I-40, and I’m impressed! I called the city to check on price and availability, and the campground host called me back pretty quickly and was helpful and friendly. She gave me good directions to the campground and told us our site number. She greeted us with a payment envelope as soon as pulled in. $20 for full hookups and $15 for water and electric. Great prices! The sites are spacious with grassy areas and some smaller shade trees. It’s been quiet and it’s clean. The park itself is HUGE, and things are really spread out, which is nice. The campground has plenty of space to be removed from day-users. All the paved areas are in good shape, and there’s a ton of open grassy areas, all of which look nicely maintained. It’s a fantastic place to stay with kids and a dog - lots of room to run and the water looks beautiful and inviting. There’s a big, cool looking playground within walking distance but we haven’t checked it out yet due to the extreme heat since we arrived this afternoon. Compared to an uninspiring RV park, this place is fabulous and a breath of fresh air. I’m already thinking it’d be a good spot to meet family for a longer stay.
